GIRL_01 is the first piece in an ongoing series exploring young women in their most intimate, unguarded moments. The series examines what it means to be alone as a woman, to exist outside the constant gaze and expectation of others. What happens when there is no one to perform for, when we are no longer being watched or policed? Who do we become in that solitude, when we are seen only by ourselves?
